Alastair travelled out to Italy by train last weekend to take part in La Lacustre vintage cycling event. A 40 mile circuit of Lake Iseo in northern Italy. A cycle across Paris to night stop in a hotel before having to dismantle the bike and put it in a bag to get on the TGV to Milan, reassemble and cycle across Milan to catch a couple more local trains to Marone where the event is based. Around 500 cyclists took part plus some vintage vehicles too. Fantastic weather and several stops for local food on the way!
