We volunteered our Dr Bike service at the inaugural Ben Vernon Charity Ride which started in the Queen's Park today. Here we are about to set off on our ex Post Office 'Elephant Bike' and Carry Freedom trailer.

We're running some Dr Bike workshops for Inclusive Pedals as part of the Big Bike Revival. Apart from the usual Chesterfield ones we'll be in Dronfield twice and the Clowne Greenway.
Today was the first one in Dronfield, outside the Snug cafe in Gorseybrigg. A busy 3 hours!

Chesterfield Cycle Campaign’s previous vice chair Nigel Vernon’s son Ben died recently and he is organising a charity ride in his memory on Sunday June 16th.
There will be two routes both starting at the bandstand in the Queen’s Park, the longer ride is 15 miles around the Trans Pennine Trail loop via Tapton, Brimington Common, Inkersall and Staveley. The shorter route is 5 miles out to Tapton Lock and back to the Queen’s Park.
Both rides are suitable for families (children must be accompanied by an adult). Families can enter by making a donation on the Just Giving website:
